HELP WANTED: Paid Writers wanted for stories and articles about Thailand

My name is James Grey, I am the Editor of an online expat magazine called Expat Rockstar Magazine, An Expat and Travel Lifestyle Magazine for Men - I am looking for a regular contributor (or contributors) to write about expat life in Thailand primarily from a male’s perspective

You will pretty much have free rein to write about anything you want as long as it has to do with expat life in Thailand. Read over our site to get an idea about the type of articles we are looking for (Expat Rockstar — Expat and Travel Magazine for men).

You will be paid 25 bucks an article, I can deliver the writing fee by PayPal once a month or however you prefer

Please email me at james[at]expatrockstar.com if you are interested

For submissions please email us a short outline so we can give you the go or no go

    Thanks!

    James Grey

How many words constitutes an article?

I'm off work for 10 days & could probably knock up a dozen in that time.

    $25? Really...wow.

Not to belittle you James, but for the everyday Joe who wants to see his name on an article it's probably okay.

For those of us that are used to getting $400 for an article, it's a bit small.

    Check out the website
I don't think he is talking about a full page article just a picture and couple hundred words.

Yep, I know that 25 bucks isn’t allot, but I want to pay something and 25 fits into the budget for now. I have the upmost respect for working writers, I have a few sites where I pay my editors (expats) full western salaries, but those sites make allot of money – this one is more of a hobby site so the pay is lower.

But you won’t exactly be writing anything that is complicated, will require lost of research or will be up for a writing award - just personal experiences.

Yes it is a lowbrow online mag, lol – sort of a FHM for expats, just a quick read every day.

I am not too strict on the word count, take a look at the word count of a few articles to give you an idea

Not a troll, I made an introduction and answered any questions people had about me (https://teakdoor.com/newbies-lounge/3...kok-expat.html (New guy, new Bangkok Expat)), I like this forum and after reading it I thought the folks here may have some funny, informative or interesting stories

I think he is referring to the poster Spiff AKA sTroller and not you.

If $25 fits in yor budget then so be it. I know some sites that pay zero.

That is truly a sad state of affairs then.
Why not organise a fund for them?
