Any condition considered
Someone was trying to sell a Mahindra jeep on here a couple of months ago.
Can anyone remember his nick, he was plugging his book as well

Go through his posts, he had one for sale
I think you get a free book as well.
There is a place in Chaofa East Road Chalong Phuket that always seems to have a few for sale .
well done fellas, I couldnt remember his name.
just the thread title,. "Jeep, by anyones standards".... groan.
Thank you for the response gents. The reason I ask is that our new home is now complete, and I find myself spending more time in the bars, I must find somthing else to occupy myself with.

There was one for sale down the road from me.
How much do you want to spend and which region do you live in ?
There's one for sale in Bangkok but I don't like the price

I've seen a couple round here. I don't know how authentic they are though.

The picture is from a dealer in Bangers.
I live in Phrae, is that anywhere near you ?
There is no point in me looking out for one if you live at the other end of the country
We all know that because you have filled in your location.Originally Posted by Thetyim

Jumbo,
This is not a bad reason to start a project. As I have mentioned in my response to the suggestion that I might want to sell my Jeep, I do not and part of the reason is the attachment I have to it from having stripped and rebuilt the beasty.
A few months after I bought my Jeep (MUTT to be technically correct), my father was taken critically ill and died of cancer. My MUTT restoration project became something for my to pour my energies into when hitting the booze and the bars could so easily have been the alternative.

This is my first day off work for over a month and I've got some course work to complete by Sunday, but please feel free to PM me with any questions about MUTTs and their restoration. There's a lot to know before you buy, I was the luckiest greenhorn going when I bought mine - Whatever you do, do not rush into the first purchase.
With Regards
Itchy
Thetyim,
Phrae I am sure is a beautiful place, I had to look on google to find it. I am a little further South in Pattaya. I appreciate your reply to my request. I will try to make a visit to Bangers if the jeep is still for sale when I return early December.
Many thanks.
I had to go into town today so I called round and sure enough it is still for sale.
If Phrae is too far away for you then never mind you can see what is available for 110k baht
Engine is a 1600cc Toyota engine
Registration is current
The owner talks absolute bollocks all the time so not sure what to believe.
He said it has the original gearbox but the front prop shaft is missing
Steering column is from an Isuzu
There is a place in sattahip that fixes and restores jeeps. It is on the left side of the road coming from pattaya ( Sukumvit Road )I have seen a couple jeeps in very good condition in the Rayong area. Very authentic the steering wheel is on the Right side. They may be left in Thailand by the U S military at Utapao or camp same san.
