Slip the dog a 10mg valium, Then quickly end it's life in a quick and decisive way. Crushng blow to the head as above or open a vein and let it bleed out.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A plastic bag over the head (once it has been drugged and is unconcious) will kill it painlessly and without any mess - or violence.

^sounds decent enough and clean. Druging the animal so that it feels no fear is ging to make easier for all involved.

Sorry to read of your problem. A few years ago I had the same problem with a cat I'h had for 14 years. I came back from holidays and found it could hardly walk and simply didn't know where it was. Local vet opened up especially for me. I had to hold on to the cat while he injected a large dose of morphine. I took the cat home. It was dead before I left the vet. I had to drive around for a few hours with the cat dead in the back seat. I didn't want my wife to see that I had been crying. God luck to you

500Bhat for the local vet to do a cat. Dogs may be the same rate.
