Slip the dog a 10mg valium, Then quickly end it's life in a quick and decisive way. Crushng blow to the head as above or open a vein and let it bleed out.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A plastic bag over the head (once it has been drugged and is unconcious) will kill it painlessly and without any mess - or violence.Originally Posted by friscofrankie

Sorry to read of your problem. A few years ago I had the same problem with a cat I'h had for 14 years. I came back from holidays and found it could hardly walk and simply didn't know where it was. Local vet opened up especially for me. I had to hold on to the cat while he injected a large dose of morphine. I took the cat home. It was dead before I left the vet. I had to drive around for a few hours with the cat dead in the back seat. I didn't want my wife to see that I had been crying. God luck to you
500Bhat for the local vet to do a cat. Dogs may be the same rate.
Our local vet has put one of our pups down. He did it last yet for one that had distemepr and no chance of recovering.Originally Posted by aging one
