Super tricked out Honda CBR 250 R for sale

A friend has got his Honda CBR 250 R for sale, it is from September 2011 and has only 1962 Km on the clock, perfect accident free condition with all the "Biker" accessories you can put on it. Plus a "Two Brothers" exhaust system.
It would make a great beginners bike or a nice present to a Girlfriend/Wife riding buddy.
All services, and all paperwork OK.

It is in the Pattaya area, and he is asking 160.000 b. I guess it is slightly negotiable.

    Call 0861386332 ask for Nigel.

^ Ah that will be for the value of all the crappy boy racer bolt ons.

People never learn that fucking around with a bike, car, whatever by sticking extra bits on it - does *not* raise it's value. Quite the opposite usually.

I don't know about additions to bikes. The exhaust looks nice and should be worth a bit. The gold stuff???

Bolt-ons done for aesthetic appeal have to at least somewhat match the stock look of the bike, and shouldn't be obvious aftermarket parts. The contrast with the huge red tank pad is especially glaring- everything jumps out and screams, 'We don't belong here!'

He'll be lucky to see 90K out of that bike, especially with the release of the new CBR300R.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I was reading somewhere that bike has been delayed a fair few months probably until the end of the year.

^ oh my lordy, if I was in Thailand now I'd go out and get one of them - the red paint should be black and orange though. Gotta love the wheels. I'll be having one of those upon my return to LOS...

This was the link I read:

Honda have increased the stroke and tweaked the injection of the Honda CBR250R to turn it into the much sharper-styled Honda CBR300R.
The new Honda CBR300R should have been available for over a month, but the production has encountered some mysterious problems and now the production has been delayed for up-to nine months, with motorcycles for some territories and regions due just before the end of 2014.

Begging for a nice exhaust too, maybe like the one in the OP. How much would that exhaust, fitted, be in LOS, Captain America?

It looks like a slip-on rather than a full exhaust (that means just the can and not the mid-pipe or headers- not as much of a potential power increase as a full system but you don't have to screw around with fueling)- I'd guess 20K, though it could be more due to import tax. I personally am not a fan of that gold weave (though Two Brothers makes a decent pipe) and would look for a titanium/CF pipe if it were my bike.

It's been running like a champ since day one and there have been no issues with it at all (knock on wood...) I'm looking into a set of aluminum wheels for it, and a possible change in gearing is in the works (though there's a potential glitch that can arise due to my planned -1/+1 swap necessitating an ECU recalibration to avoid a stutter caused by the computer getting 'confused' as to which gear it should be in, and it switches the gearing maps in rapid succession even though the bike hasn't been shifted, and I'd have to flash it to again- it will be a bit of a PITA and I'll probably wait a while before doing it). I can't just leave it alone.

I have to say it's turned out to be both exactly what I wanted and expected.
