Phuket Airport FLY Hotel is for sale :(

After my thread last year on building this hotel, (Building a mini-resort in Phuket - The Country Resort)

I have got the request from my ex-wife to try to sell it as fast as possible.

Unfortunately, my ex has been diagnosed with advanced pulmonary tuberculosis, (which I suspect she has had for many years), and is now hospitalised until further notice. Her illness is not responding to the strong medication (her liver is damaged by the medicines), and the future looks rather grim

A very fast sale is sought due to these health problems, so that she can either pay for more hospital treatment, or can organise her future affairs and care for her 3 kids (one is my young son).

FLY was constructed by me in late 2011 and is located on half a rai of land, located about 1.5km from the airport. The location is pleasantly rural, set amongst rubber tree and pineapple plantations, but only a few minutes from the airport and popular Nai Yang Beach.

The land is leased for a period of 13 years, (this period can be extended), and the lease contract is correctly registered at Thalang Land Office, and all applicable taxes paid. The hotel itself has full planning permission from Thalang OrBorTor and local permission from Tambon Saku government office.

There are currently 5 large guest rooms, but planning permission was provided to build additional guest rooms, which the land area can easily accommodate.

3 phase electricity is fully installed to the hotel, as is a multi-channel satellite TV system (no monthly subscription is required). There is a land-line telephone with wi-fi access throughout the site.

There is a separate building that provides a bar/cafe/breakfast area, kitchen and customer toilet.

3 of the customer rooms have air-con units, and all have colour TV and en-suite showers. All customer rooms are fully-furnished and have tiled floors, and the hotel continues to be busy every night.

The land area also houses a separate staff building, fish pond, and a wide variety of plants and trees.

The hotel business owns a valuable web-site domain and fully-operational web-site with online booking facility. The hotel receives the majority of it's guest bookings from agents such as,,, and

The monthly land rent is just 17,000 baht, increasing by a contracted and small % over the 13 year term.

Monthly bills are typically 7k for electricity, 1k for telephone/internet and 40k per year for OrBorTor tax.

The hotel cost 4 million baht to build and furnish in 2011.

The business is for sale as a going concern, (with the new owner gaining revenues from all existing bookings). The asking price is 5 million baht or negotiable if the potential buyer can make a very fast purchase, (which is very important due to the health status of the Thai owner).

The new owner will receive free advice and assistance concerning the online booking system and online agent configuration.

Also, if anyone agent or individual can secure a fast sale, I will pay 10% of the sale value to them on completion of the sale - this incentive is again trying to secure a fast sale.

    The hotel web-site is at

I'm based in Myanmar, but still manage all hotel marketing and online activities - and will freely advise and train the new owner.

Please contact as soon as possible for further details
