    Macau Photo Thread

On the way back from Hong Kong at Songkran we stopped off for a couple of nights in Macau. I hadn't been there fior over 20 years and boy had it changed.

The House of Misery or whatever it's called

    Chinese Medicine Shop

    I love custard tarts

    The facade of St Pauls

I liked this statue in a road side shrine

Fair few statues of this guy, not sure what it's all about but someone has given him a bit of a beating.

nice thread. I loved the Portugese food, but the night hours are a bit hard to get used to!

If I'd known you were going to Macau Bob I'd have extended an invitation to beers in Zhuhai.
    Nice pics.

In was only there for 36 hours and I had the family, visas to get over the border would have just been too much of a pain in the butt.

One of the guys i work with has a girlfriend in Zhuhai and is always trying to persuade me to there for a weekend with him.

So maybe I'll just do that and have a few beers with you as well.

Nice pics - but it looks like a place that I would avoid like the bloody plague !

Went there many years ago and it was nothing like that !!

Except for the people in the temple, there is not a soul to be seen.

    Why is that?

Must have cost a fortune to build those spectacular hotels, wonder if they regret it now

You wouldn't know how mush the sides I support win or lose, it's obvious from your comments you never actually watch those games.

Mind you, still nothing to do with the debate......but you can't get involved in that because you haven't a leg to stand on.
