    Visa for China

I have to travel to China for 7-10 days in early January. I am on an Aussie passport coming from Oz.

I will be going on business but wonder if it would be less hassle just to get a tourist visa.

    Can anyone please advise?

Last time I went was in 2014. I needed to show a hotelreservation. If that's booked by a company, you can't go on a tourist visa

Cheers guys, I am making my own reservations so I may just opt for the tourist visa. Should be less hassle.

^ Are you sure that is possible? I have worked in China quite a lot and bringing people in was something of a nightmare without he correct paperwork.
