Picture Thread: another daytrip to Seoul...

In the morning, I did a bit of work, the office is at the edge of Seoul and surrounded by hills:

Got paid $100 for twenty minutes work (I wish that was my normal rate...) then met up with a couple of friends and headed down to Itewan.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

There was so muuuuuuuch skirt, it was amazing and wonderful. But, not being a dirty old leerer, I didn't take any pics of that - sorry, gents.

Many many food options, we had Mexican (which was good but pricey - fajitas were $18; everything in the area is great, but pricey...).

We drank some craft beers of which I took some pics, that is it, sorry. A short thread...

Had a very good time and spent over $100. Got on the 11pm KTX and got home about 12:30am (I'd headed up to Seoul around 7am, so was pretty tired by then; I'm getting old).

    FTFY

No excuse. These cutie girls spend all day taking pictures of themselves to stick on Naver, so you taking a few more wouldn't offend them.

You'll find that some clients finish up even quicker. It's all about sphincter control.

    Sorry, Bets. Just joshing.

Yea, your right with he exchange rate, in my befuddled state this morning I've still got USD rates from 1988 in my head (I think).

    Still bloody expensive.

Still, fooking cheap for a jump in Korea, so I dare say someone will take him up on his offer.

    Tough audience...

Sorry fellas, I'm just not keen on aiming me camera at every sexy girl that passes, but be aware that Korea has a lot of beautiful young ladies.

BTW, I suspect things have changed and are more reasonably priced in some ways now, for example: the micro-brewery stout (award winner...) was $7; I pay $7 for a pint of Guinness at the pub opposite me apartment.

At one of the breweries (I forgot to take a pic), I tried out 6 glasses of their various beers for $35 - sounds ok until you realize they were only 200ml glasses.

    Just like this, but 6:

Why didn't I take a pic? The beautiful waitress was leaning all over me, laughing and joking, asking me name and virtually sitting on me lap, and I just acted like a 15-year-old about to get his first kiss (which i didn't...). She must've been on some decent commission! I might move up to Seoul in a few weeks, if so then I can see me money going very quickly out of me pocket and into her tip box...

Here's some net pics from Itewan to give you a flavour of what it's like:

    Seoul is great.

Flying Korean Air to Vladivostok soon.

During my recent vacation in the Philippines I saw a lot of Korean tourists. The female virtually always come in pairs and are busy taking photos of each other.

^ not really my scene although if a 25-year-old party girl was to throw herself at me then I might have to think of good reasons to behave (ducks, feeding, wouldn't take long to get the reasons...).

I nearly forgot another pic, sorry for my oversight; here it is now:

    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .

it's worth waiting for; Thais would especially like it; I'm thinking of sending it to my Thai friends (I did something similar before and they were not happy...).
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .

Nearly there, will it be worth the wait?
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .

So, me brand new work shoes ($130 Hush Puppies - I can provide a pic upon demand) were killing me, so I stopped off at a shoe shop to get the cheapest pair of anything cheap. The staff were useless, so I just picked the Nike crap up quickly in my size. $29. Put them on, walked around, drunk, turned out I was looking at bloody American sizes, not UK, and the fukin things were far too small and hurt my baby toe; yes, it hurt!

I've spent $159 on shoes that are too small for me over the last 2 days... I is stupido maximo...

@takeovers - when my friends and I went to Boracay last year, we went island hopping. As we were leaving one island, a couple of K-girls arrived. They were the only passengers of their boat. They wore frilly cotton dresses (with bikinis underneath), and clearly intended to have a photoshoot in that small island. Would probably upload it to their social networks later on. Sorry, no photos, as I was camera-weary by then.

@betty - I found Seoul to be more expensive than Washington DC. I went to Gangnam district, and saw the prices - 5$ for a bubble milk tea! Generally, I also found the meals in the restos more costly in Seoul than in DC. Re: the girls, I saw a lot of pretty girls in Seoul. However, I couldn't help but wonder if their eyes, noses and breasts were real, as plastic surgery is common in SK. I saw a lot of adverts for plastic surgery clinics in the Gangnam subway stations. Strangely enough, the K-ppl that I see in PI aren't good looking. There are quite a lot in my hometown - groups which stay for 1-3 months, learning English. Among a group of 10 girls, only 1 or 2 would be pretty. As for the guys, they had nice physique (since most of them have done their military stint) but there are only few that I would consider as "guapo". Cheers and thanks for the pics!

That being said I doubt I'll ever go back.
