^ Don't tell everyone how nice Japan is bro!

I don't want the dross coming over to spoil it (your good self excluded) 55...

I've got a spouse Visa.. cost me nothing... use the same documents to renew after my 1st year - I will get 3 year Visa - then PR... told them exactly what I intend to do there (business wise) on my application form... I feel they welcome any positive boost to their economy (however slight mine may be)...

I can buy a house/land in my name (which I will do)... no restriction on what I can do to support myself and my spouse...

Can't sing the praises too loudly - lest I get spanked by pro-tai-landers...

Check out my Fukuoka thread (if ya haven't already)... might catch up with you lads there...

I'm sure the place is great, but it is full of nips, and nips is weird.

Don't worry the average guy contemplating suicide via balcony in Pattaya doesn't think he can afford it and lacks the initiative.

Japan still has Tower records of course in 1998 or about they sold 1 billion dollars of stuff, by 2007 they were bankrupt. Fortunately the ones in Japan had already been sold off, don't recommend the cafe though. Dont know what the dog statue is for

Anyone know what this is thought it might be lottery?

Meji shrine and a wedding there, poor bugger!

Get married, go to school and study or be gainfully employed. Your average retiree in Thailand wouldn't make the cut. Oh you would also have to learn some of the language and try to fit in. Again the bar is too high for the Thailand crew. To get a visa of any kind for work you need a verifiable degree to even teach these days.

They don't just let anybody in but it isn't that difficult. As far as I know there are no retirement visas for old lecherous men.

The dog statue actually says right on it what it is for. The Japanese like to be informative. The legend of Hachiko is detailed in English and Japanese right on the statue itself.

Nice to hear it keeps the riff raff out, I wonder how all those African touts outside Harijuku sports shops manage to stay though, and gangs of them working as security at concerts. Lecherous lets me out so I might fit in

    And they call Pattaya weird.

Maybe you should be certified, and travel banned, just to live there.

    For the rest of us.
