Ahhhh, such wonderfull pictures. I whish I had just half of your skill.
I'm speechless everytime how brilliant your pictures come across even if they are reduced to such a small size on these threads. But then again, brilliant composition doesn't need millions of pixels to look good.
Did you use the trusted 5D or was this perhaps already the shopping trip for the 1D x by any chance?
My favorite picture is the second one. (Butcher street shop). That lighting is fantastic, incredibly nicely varied and detailed. I'd assume this was all natural / present lights there and no flash, but is that really possible?
Thank you very much Bob

Very nice pics!
I'm heading there next year and hope to buy a decent camera as I've heard prices are quite good in HK (no sales tax).
They are all painted, depends on the advert at the time.
Nope, I was in there to meet some friends 2 weeks ago.
They had no idea where they were staying when they booked online.
I tried to dissuade them but to no avail. For 150HKD for two of them for 2 nights (total) they weren't to be dissuaded.
They had a room in the garden guest house on the 16 floor of tower B.
(A surprisingly comfortable neat and clean but tiny room with it's own bathroom and toilet.)

Garden Guest House? I bonked a Swedish girl in there in 1987
