A tip from me. If you do a forum search and find something, look for the dates. It may be somewhat stale like this thread.

    GooMaiRoo,

To me, "Spoiled Thai-Chinese brats" are no more spoiled than spoiled brats of upwardly mobile families anywhere in the world.

This is not the first time I have come across farangs saying negative things about the Chinese in Thailand. These Chinese have lived in Thailand for a long time and they are Thai citizens unlike you.

It seems to me that the reason so many of you loser farangs make such remarks about the Thai-Chinese is because they, unlike their fellow "Thai-Thais" are not so easily impressed by the likes of you.

This is the 21st century, not 15th century when Christopher Columbus discovered America. You have to offer the Thai-Chinese more than colored glass beads.

Kindly remember when you come to Thailand you are but a visitor, so please leave your racism baggage back where you came from.

    Bill
Columbus (Colon) was an idiot? Would you consider that someone who set out to get to Jupiter but arrived at Neptune was an idiot, because that is the scale of Columbus's achievement.

As for Columbus (Colon) discovering the Americas, I think everyone understands that a) the people who lived there knew it was there; b) that Columbus discovered it for Europeans. Chinese historians by the way, laugh at the Menzie theory that they discovered America before Colon. There is I am told nothing in Chinese texts to support this. I only know this because I have two Chinese academics in my family and they agree this is not serious history.

    "loser foreigners like you"

"Kindly remember when you come to Thailand you are but a visitor, so please leave your racism baggage back where you came from."

Lets look at what you say. Ask yourself if you would dare to say that to a foreigner in the country from which you came. If you can say that to a foreigner where you are from, I d love to know which country it is. If you cannot, you should consider whether you are not some kind of inverted racist.

Although the main difference is that the 'foreigners" back home are likely to be naturalized citizens of your Country , likely to have been born there , whilst foreigners in Thailand are indeed not Thai and foreign

Seeing as the CM forum is as dead as a dodo, I may as well rebump this old one.

My son has been a Waree for the last 18 months and we have decided to pull him out of there. Strangely enough, due to the spoilt little shits who clog up the 'Thai' school and their ignorant parents setting poor examples.

He'll be moving to ABS after the October break where they don't have a monkey school level, only EP.

A friend here was in a similar predicament and did the same, noting a decent improvement in his son's acadamic & personal well-being.

Yes. On the SH opposite Isuzu (?).

A bus leaves from outside my house everymorning, so it'll make my wife's life a bit easier.
