I spent three days in Chiang Mai, and 2 days in Chiang Rai, back in 2007. I was finally sorting through some of my photos.

Sunday Night Market was a blast.

They were selling puppies on the street.

What's a night market without a foot massage

Cute little girl who was sitting beside me.

I also really loved the Chiang Mai night market. I was especially attracted to the art section. I ended up buying four pieces of art. This one Thai guy creates charcoal drawings. I bought this picture he was about to finish.

The artists are so talented at this night market.

I had a chance to visit Maesa Elephant Camp.

Saw an elephant make a painting with its trunk.

Bath time! I also have this on video that I'll post soon.

I took a bamboo raft down the river. The Thai driver of the raft, kept asking me to try steering it. I declined. Knowing my luck I would of tipped the raft right over.

The moat wall in Chiang Mai was pretty cool, where you could see it.

We stopped at an orchid farm. Beautiful flowers there.

We did half a day trekking.

Went to see the Karon Long neck hilltribe camp. I won't do that again, though. This was before I knew just how they were treated.

On the way to Chiang Rai. Can you see the lying down woman in the mountains? Look on the right (that is the head).
