A pleasant Tuesday afternoon w/ CMn

Tuesday afternoon I meet up w/ CMn near downtown Chiang Mai, to go out & see where his NEW house is being built & to ride our bikes up to Wat Doi Saket.

While I was waiting for him I took a picture of a adorable little boy & a dead rat:

After a 25 minute ride, we arrived @ his NEW house. Here's a picture of my NEW hog resting in front of his place:

Here's a couple of pictures of his house being constructed, it's looking GREAT!

He has a sweet old neighbor, I don't know her name:

After having some wonderful food @ a German restaurant w/ his lovely wife, we headed up to Wat Doi Saket:

As you can tell it was drizzling a little bit:

Finally the sun came out & the rest of the day was dry:

A resident monk was doing some work around the temple:

The temple was pretty vacant, so it was very peaceful. It was a good time, I would love to visit there again.

Nice pic - It must be the first Thai sidecar built out of tube with a decent mudguard ! Nice kid - must be a bit of a terror though if they have to padlock him in !

Sidecar wheel seems a bit far back though - Bet its a handfull on right hand bends !

The pics of North Thailand that appear on the TD are getting me seriously thinking of going up there to have a look myself. ( from Phuket )

Any ideas on how to get my bike up there - and I am not considering riding it all the way ( Air Blade)

Train - truck or whatever ???

Just ride it there, even old people like Mr Earl can do that. Hell I done a 125cc from Pattaya to Penang and back, don't be poof....

Reminded me of the days in my far distant past when road
testing Rocket Threes at BSA Birmingham to Glasgow and back in a day was the routine !!

Hell you get tired you just stop and get a hotel, it really don't matter how long it takes you, although earl wanted to join some gay club so done it in 24 hours, me, I done those 1,000km plus journeys in a day and didn't join the gay club

I think my picture pops more because of the camera. Also I like to crush the shadows & open up the highlights in photoshop, for example:

I also applied a sharpen filter.
