    Food Delivery

I've got an enormous hangover and I can't be arsed cooking.

What delicious food do you order from Grab/Tuk/MealsonWheels4U/Robin Hood/whatever?

    Seafood excluded.

^ Don't you have emergency 10 Baht noodles in the cupboard. Most food delivery is shite, it arrives less than pipping hot and congealed.

I was just about to ask the same thing Mike. While I haven't eaten a cup o noodles in a long time they can be a life saver and you can crawl to the microwave to heat up water and then shuffle back to couch. Of course, best cure is get up, fire up the shower and have a beer while the water pours down on you. Not a Goat piss beer, that'll make it worse. get a good one and make sure nice and cold. You will hop out and feel GREAT !!!!

    Anyway, GL HB.

Best way to avoid a hangover is don't stop drinking and never ever stop, lay down and fight the room spinning. Get up and drink more.

You lot are as useful as a foreskin in a jewish nudist camp.

I need something more substantial than packet of noodles ramen.

Anyway I've order meself a big bucket of Biryani, that should do the trick.

Get the big cup o noodles, not the packet, that's for rookies. If you are a thrill seeker get a Tom Yum version.

Yuck. I would rather starve than eat Mama noodles. There are better things to have for emergency rations. Keep some of those frozen meals from 7/11 to nuke when needed.

I use Grab. To keep from getting cold food, tick the box for ‘near me.’ Sort by nearest. Comes hot every time.

Get your favorite local eateries to give you their Grab/Panda/LINE/whatever QR code and put it in your ‘favorites.’

There’s a kebab place a couple of kms away from my house. I order from them a couple of times a week. They have some great food.

Harry lives too far from this kebab place. It would be stone cold by the time he got it as well as paying out the wazoo to have it delivered.

Surely the maid can knock something up or if you are too poor to have one, get your rental to stop at a takeaway.

I’m one of those annoying fuckers who maintains a supply of everything I might need in a pinch. Not quite doomsday prepper standard, but rarely run out of stuff.
I also have decent local restaurants and Warungs within walking distance.

Delivery food peaked during Covid and I admit I did try it a few times. I live alone and do my own shopping which is tailored to one main meal per day, plus snacks and enough for toasted sandwiches I have a if needed. One weeks supply at a time.

An Australian friend makes English crumpets for me and I have two with jam and orange juice most days for breakfast.

    Hungry yet Harry? lol

My style of provisioning has gone, because I’m moving house tomorrow and I have to run the fridge and freezer stocks down, to defrost them. I very rarely get a hangover these days, don’t drink much.

In my youth, the answer was a good beasting followed by a full English. Too old for that now.
    Sorry Harry, can’t really help!

Rookie mistake....always order a pizza before passing out. It'll still be on the table in the morning and hopefully ant and cockroach free.

I was looking for recommendations you idiot.

I literally said "What delicious food do you order from Grab/Tuk/MealsonWheels4U/Robin Hood/whatever?"

I can work out how far away they are.
