Camped out in the wilds of Lampang Province. In-laws have a resort there and I have a nephew in-law who’s a landowner in Lampang and planning a relocation there. Currently his land is planted with orchards, primarily mango and lam yai. Seems to be doing quite well. Just purchased a 120 or so tarang wah plot to built a house on.
So, we came up here to renew his contracts for fertilizing, irrigation, care and harvesting. And to review the building plot for planning. Looked at the building plot. Needs some clean fill to build up and level. Then he can start the concrete slab work.
Visited some of the orchard plots. All looking good. Nothing to report on as its pretty much routine “cookie-cutter” operations. No pix of the building plot – dirt is dirt – seen one you’ve seen them all. Pretty much the same for the orchards, seen one, seen them all. Rows upon rows of fruit trees. Most just in the flowering stages. Irrigation pumps working away, irrigation canals flowing well, bamboo support staffs staged and ready to go.
After lunch headed out to Chiang Mai to the Densali Temple. Impressive complex. Very well maintained. Quite clean. They are building another temple to add to the existing structures.
Kinda surprised that they had few visitors. I did see three full size tour buses and a half dozen commuter vans parked there but did not see the visitors. I figure less than fifty visitors. The complex is quite large and has at least a dozen structures. We had them pretty much to ourselves with sporadic groups of two to four visitors occasionally crossing our paths.
