New Year & January in Chaing Mai

    Good evening all,

going back to CNX again for a few weeks just after Christmas, does any one know of much going on around new years eve and new year day that might be worth going to ?

Also is it still quite cold in January ?

Haven't been in Chiang Mai around Christmas time for quite a few years.

Hopefully the Mrs will be kept busy with the family so I can get a bit of freedom

    Thank you

A bit nippy at that time of year, isn't it? Maximum in the daytime is the 20s and coat weather in the evening?

I remember years back being up there and, while the days were pleasant enough, we had to wrap up in the evening.

Missed that but LA sadly the locals on here don't seem to be much help, not my area unfortunately.

Any of you CM locals have any recommendations for Xmas dinner?

2 blokes staying centre of town, so want to stay away from the hotel offering and fancy a pub setting.

I only really know the Red Lion, Mulligans and the U.N, so all tips would be appreciated.

    Global warming mate.

T-shirt weather the last few years, even in a tuk tuk.
