    Samoeng Loop

Buggered off for a nice morning ride along an old favorite. The Samoeng Loop.

    What an absolutely amazing road.

Lots of places to stop off at.... if yer gay.

Fok that, us real riders only stop for a nice cold strawberry milk.

Lots of strawberry farms along the way.

And what amazing roads and views.

    Motorbiking heaven.

Team Sky Blue beating Team Red & Black as fookin' usual.

I didn't need gas that badly.

Not wanting to be around smelly backpackers or be murdered by a policeman, I decided to not bother going on to Pai.

Samoeng is a lovely quaint little town.

    We all need sustenance.

30km more of heaven before hitting Mae Rim.

    Oh baby.

During which every bend, and there are many, opens onto an amazing vista.

Can come on the 21st and sit on wet old wood next to a dank brown stream and eat what I'd imagine is fried rice with bits of dirt and gravel in it.

They are nice pics but as a mad ex test pilot for various Japanese bike makers I need to see the state of the tires plus how long do they last How often do you replace you're knee sliders are you doubling up.

    Funny you should say that...

I was giving it a clean when they got home from school and one offered to help so as a reward I let him have a drive afterwards (well steer really, I did the pedals).

There was no burnout done either. Nope, nosiree, not a single one. And certainly not two. I'm far to responsible a parent for that.

I'm sure the neighbors are appreciative of the responsible way you are teaching your children to drive.

I was thinking when I posted that 'best not say anything more than that'.

No doubt the repo-obsessed rock star is monitoring me every post. Misses me something terrible I bet -- not like he's got anything else in his life.

With Lulu hanging up his riding cleats for a while I'll see if I can do better than half-arsed pics on next dirt biking mission with the kids this weekend.

Can't come soon enough, literally and figuratively. Created a monster here now it's all they want to do and all they ask about every 5 min.

Oh well that was the goal anyways. Anything is better than staring at bloody screens all the time.

If I may, you should take off the rear wheels and tell them when they've learned how to do that, they can go riding next weekend. Let them know it's a two fold deal, riding = maintenance and it's something you can do together with them.

You may, and couldn't agree with you any more on that one.

Haven't taken it that far yet though (although it's a good idea, cheers) but first thing I did when we got the bike was take them through the basic mechanicals of it all and how the motor works.

    Edit:

Actually I'm going to do exactly as you've suggested, better idea than just explaining the theoretical side to them.

Nice ride LuLu. You should show your Moto in the pics because Dill and I still think you are riding either a Honda Click or a Scoopy I.

You need to get a GoPro Hero and do some vids. I am in the states right now and picked up a few more various mounts for my R3 and Truck.

^ Pink Fino. (My family and I are being stalked offline enough already )

Rode back to Bkk today on me main bike. Fok it's a nice road for cruising. Left at 7am and got here at 1pm with 3 fuel stops, one thing I love about riding in Thailand is the lack of speed cam checks, points off yer licence and all that nonsense. Cruised along at 130-70 the whole way, lovely 2-4 lane roads, little traffic, big mountains on one side, green fields on the other, blue skies above and dead pythons on the asphalt, what else could you want.

Will be back up North to the Ninja/Fino in a 3-4 weeks time.

    Miss Main Mrs. CM already.
