Looking for a pet shop that sells thick rope chew toys for dogs. Our 65 pound monster is able to destroy most toys in seconds, so want to get her something rugged like the rope toys. All suggestions appreciated.

Any of the markets sell tons of that stuff, but I find my rottis destroy event he rope toys.
Go to the hardware store and just by some thick rope and knot it.
Or give him the ultimate dog toy, an empty water bottle...
Except that the plastic is bad for them when they eat the bottle.
They're Rotti's, not stupids
Both have a very set agenda when they get a new bottle, chase each other around playing tag with it for a while, then whoever wins gets to keep it.'
He'll chew the cap off and spit it out, then munch the bottle till it's flat, then they use it like a skateboard in the carport by putting their front paws on it and scooting around on the concrete.
If I threw an empty water bottle out to my three Labs, one of them MIGHT open an eye just to make sure it wasn't food.
Our dog can destroy a water bottle in seconds... Loves it. Milk jugs are a favorite too. Used to be able to find these poly rope toys that were really tough but not lately. Will have to keep my eyes open at the hardware store to see if they have any ship hawser for sale.

Fireman Tel is down at JJ market today...Should've PM'd him!
Years ago we had a very friendly young pit bull. It's favorite toy was an old car tyre. Kept him happy for ages.

Just 1 Labrador here but always very happy with an empty water bottle, especially when a few small pebbles are inserted. 20 minutes running like crazy around the garden, sounds of rattling, chewing and crashing into plants, then followed by that pose and face that says "Finished... can I have another one?"
I bought a meter long thick rope with knots in toy from JJ market - 2 yrs later and still going strong with three big dogs going at it.
Similar here, two soi dogs and they would just look at me with a "Nice try dipshit, now bring something edible" expression and roll over.Originally Posted by Davis Knowlton
