I use a .45 loaded with snake shot - lots of tiny little projectiles. I guarantee survivors will give your neighborhood a wide berth.

    Cats aren't that dumb, though.

    Must be thinking of canines.

Several vendors in Warorot Market sell hunting goods like foothold traps and nets. They may have a trap suitable for catching cats unharmed. Would be difficult to tell you where in that maze they are located, but always near other shops which sell fishing nets.

You could try the old downtown market area in Chiang Rai, where the hillbillies shop.

Are you wanting traps like this?

If that's what you're lookin' for plug กรงดักแมว or กับดักแมว and เชียงใหม่ into Google thailand and have a thai read the choices.

I know the local cat rescue foundation which catches, spays/neuters street cats has a few, dunno where they got 'em though.

Ancient thread I realize, but via google I found this page and it was a big help in finding a cat trap/cat cage here in TH. I logged in here at Teakdoor (which I haven't done in a long time) just to post that I ended up buying through this company and to thank toddaniels for posting the thai search words which was the only way I found them.

    ????????? ?????????? ????????????? MyCatTrap : Inspired by LnwShop.com

The owner speaks English so you can message them through Line app and place your order if need be. We've got the #$%#$ cats in our ceiling playing with wiring and pooping/peeing everywhere here in BKK. I ordered size L for 1700THB shipped which the owner said would be fine size for cats as the XL size is won;t be in for 2 months. Only ordered last night.
