Led/LCD flat screen smart Tv 40-50'

    Hello again guys and girls
Firstly i would like to wish everyone on Teak-door a very happy and healthy Christmas & in deed a wealthy new year.
As you can see by my post 'title' i am in the market for a new LED/LCD flat screen smart TV 40-50', this is my Xmas present to myself.
Has anybody had problems with...1. shop they bought it from..2. the TV itself? and more importantly i need to hear some good advice of which type i should buy.
I am also looking at Sofa's, bedroom furniture, washing machines etc....for my new house, but the TV is very important to me.
    Many thanks
    Kevin....Soapy!

looked at Samsung, but have some bad reviews regarding the way they are made, would like one as i have a Samsung phone to connect.
    cheers for that guys.
Seems everyone i look at here in the shops in Thailand, online only has a Thai product number, which doesn't help me at all, so they must have different products/make numbers here in Asia?

I'd go for a 55" Samsung Series 6. Should be able to get it for about 44k.

Yep, I'm holding out for the Series 8 to come down in price a bit, or maybe either newer/bigger in the sales.

They were doing the Series 7 for just over 43K at Chinese New Year at the beginning of the year. The twat shop assistant told me "No problem, we still have same promotion until the 5th!" but when I went back to buy it, it had finished.
