    Fish pond outdoors

Hey everyone, i have a small ceramic pot in my garden and introduced fish into it, the first few died so i got some plants & tried a second time, now they are thriving, but i was wondering, how do i clean the water or what can i do to help keep it clean?
It was a plant pot for keeping Bamboo in before.
I have read about snails for the cleaning and various plants to help keep the water fresh, any suggestions?

    Many thanks Soapy Kev
P.S. how do i attach fotos here?? sorry newbie !

Go to a fish store or check local markets and buy a water pump for about 300-500B depending on the size. Then buy a filter that looks like a gun silencer (round cylinder about 15-25 cm long). Attach the silencer (filter) to the water input end of the pump and sit back and enjoy. I bought 2 filters and change them out every 3 weeks. Easy to clean and keeps the water very clear.

is it really essential to have a filter, as i was hoping the plants/snails could keep the water clean? i really dont want to be 'tied' to a fish pool/pond and i defo dont want to sort out electric all the way out to the garden.
I was hoping on a more natural way !
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly
