    Flooding in the central region

Well it's that time of year again and going by this mornings news some areas are allready experiencing flooding. 2 years ago we ended up with a couple of feet of water in the house when the powers that be decided to open all the flood gates in the central area to save Bangkok becoming swamped. Anyone else suffer when the flooding gets bad?

The things I hate in the rainy season are the snakes!

HAd to get one of the neighbours, local snake catcher/eater, to come in and get a 3 foot cobra out.

Don't mind snakes but ones that bite being in the house doesn't do much for me.

Two years ago, here in Nakohn Sawan province everywhere was flooded, people living on the side of the road because they could not even get to there homes. We ran two pumps twenty four hours a day but managed to keep the water out of both of our houses. Most of the neighbors were not so lucky.

Also had this in Chainat 2 yrs ago. Most families living on the side of the road in make shift housing & communal toilets & showers. Very difficult for all concerned.
