    Suphanburi: Any restaurant recommendations?

I was just wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for restaurants, particularly ones that serve farang food and preferably farang-owned, in Suphanburi.

Interesting to note: Farang-operated establishments doesn't guarantee quality fare, service, or atmosphere.

    Odd request.

Well, I'd imagine he's aware of that but if you're going to new place you'd want to meet some one who has already set up shop or knows about the town? I've been a few times but I don't know of any farang owned restaurants

Nary a farang restaurant in Changwat Suphanburi that this poster is aware of. Even the big new Robinson shopping mall's Food Court in meung Suphan lists all dishes in phassa Thai. There's a KFC there though.

Nice little eateries around the 100 year market in Samchuk.

KFC. The height of Farang cuisine.

    Worth the mention. Twice.

'Cause that's all there is re farang food in Suphan.

Actually, this poster could not stomach KFC in the States but here, it's not too bad for a quick meal like every once an a while. Like in every 6 months or so...

Something wrong with the chicken in KFC here. Or the oil.
    It's red inside.

Thanks, folks. I already know about the KFC and the Pizza Company, but I'm looking for something less commercial, like an English breakfast or schnitzel or a proper steak with a baked potato

That's too true and obvious, RS, hence my asking for recommendations. The request isn't so odd as I'd like to meet some locals while I'm there and support our community of expat businesses. Thanks for your sage advice. FB got it spot on.

Exactly! Personally, I prefer fried chicken from the markets. It's cheaper, tastier, and meatier!
