Sihanoukville, the first pics are of Otres Beach. No jet skis or banana boats, it was idyllic.

We originally intended to visit Sihanoukville for a week, but ended up staying three.
Once the airport is up and running Snooky will become a major SEA destination, best get there quick before the crowds.
The airport at Siam Riep (Angkor Wat) and the high level of investment there gives a good indication that people will go when the infrastructure is in place.

Mosquito, Victory Hill second bar down on right hand side, watch out for the mingers in the first bar! Walk a bit further to the corner on the left hand side and there is Papagayo the bar in the pics with pool table and big screen, very nice in there, good attitude, good music and food.. you can hire a decent scooter from there, the owner Remy is a diamond.
Walk futher down the hill and there's a little resort bar on the right that's good for a pit stop and then down to the Victory Beach where you will find the nightclub with the airplane in it, Airport.
Be sure not to stagger home alone in Sihanoukville and you'll make it back safe. Enjoy mate, I wish i was back there myself.
There's guest houses in Victory hill, that are very good value also some good french cafe's for food.
If your down in the main drag at Ocheteul Beach where the tourist life is visit the Nap House on the beach from midnight to sunrise they spin House music, very cool spot... Eurochicks and freelancers, further along there's Banana Bar, great atmos in the day chillied tunes, cheap beer at 50c, and a barbie at sundown.

We got the coach from Koh Kong, 4 hours I think, the road was very good. there is an airport at Snooky, but as yet it's not big enough for international flights. I hired a car when I was over there but seriously it was the most nerve wracking driving expereince I've ever had and made Thailand look positively civillized in comparison, I took the car back the next day.

everywhere you can get to but for sure
    Siem Rep for Angkor
Phnom Penh for the people, (make sure ur on the riverside at dusk and join in with the locals) and nightlife, (visit the Ponton, Sharkies, (great food/pool and freelancers).
    Shinoukville before it becomes busy

Go with an open mind and dont carry lots of money, plenty of atms around
