no commentary but an idea where some of the pics are would have been better. but still a greenie is deserved.
the last time i was in snooky the bird life was uuuuugly! only one or two in the whole town and you found two in the same bar??
the roads must have improved if you got a coach in 4 hrs.
You dont pay them to stay for the night, you pay them to leave in the morning
Funny you should say that, the two girls in the second picture, with dark hair, are from the bar accross the road, Papagayo, the one on the left is the owners wife. there was a young bird in there that attracted the attention of my mate, she was about 17-18, very pretty and shy, after he had been chatting a while he came over and said "f**cking hell she just told me she's a virgin" well we had a good laugh at that, I said to the owners wife what the girl told him and she said "oh yes there are three virgins working here" imagine that, we went to Cambodia and found a bar with three cherries in it, and we couldn't find one in the whole of Thailand!
He didn't by the way. Victory Hill mate, get yourself up there, the two blonde birds were in Mosquito bar, run by an English guy on the edge of a nervous breakdown and the other bar is over the road on the corner, Papagayo, run by Remy, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Enjoy!

If u didn't find any virgins inThailand u were not looking very hard.
Patpong/Nana and soi cowboy are not the place to look for sure
Quite a few here in Kamala
That's because I haven't been to Kamala yet. Got any numbers?
Many Cambo birds that work in bars aren't out and out slags like most of their Thai equivalents.Originally Posted by ItsRobsLife

Classy Bird on the left! MILF territory maybe but still made me salivate like Pavlov's dog!
This is her husband Remy.
One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, he's lived in Cambodia for quite some time, and is the owner of Papagayo
which is by far the best bar on Victory Hill, quite impressive for a guy in his mid 20's.
Look at it this way a girl can average at elast 3-4 drinks /night and she makes $1/drink plus her $60 /month salary so thats $180/month nearly 2 times the HUGH salary of a garmet factory worker.
She is learning english, how to deal with westerners and looking for Mr. Right at the same time.
PLus you get all the jaded guys thinking "ahhh yes she is a virgin but she will go with me cause I am ( fill in ur own words) ___________" and buy drinks for her and her friends often returning night after night.
Very nice shots, Rob. Thanks.
Great pics, thanks from sharing. Makes me miss Cambodia
Not much changed since my last visit to Cambodia 5 years ago. I had rented a car and hired a guide travel throughout the whole county. It's a wonderful memory.
Good pics,I must check out the blonde on the red dress tonight.I saw her mate near the beach at 6am this morning, she gaveme a cheery greeting.
There are many virgins in cambodian hostess bars, they dont go out at all.Totally different scene from thailand, this is a deeply conservative society where manybar girls want a husband and children.
Most blokes visiting from thailand dont have a clue about this.
Happy, happy days... nearly 7 years ago now, crikey time flies
very nice pics^^nice place ..thanks for sharing...what that money doing??
Reasonable pics. Makes the country look alright, although it's a complete shithole.
Cambodian birds are possibly the ugliest of the lot in SEA.
And Shitsville is just that, a sore pussy wound at the bottom end of a wretched country.

It never floated my Boat either Bazza, Rather depressing place I thought.
If not for Angkor no coont would ever of gone there.
Horses for courses Tel... some people might find shacking up in a Bangkok condo incredibly mundane... I couldn't live in Cambodia, but I found the late night party scene in Snooky far more liberal and down to earth than anything in Thailand and Siam Riep and Angkor Wat were absolutely memorable and I'm so glad I took the opportunity when I was in SEA to visit... variety is the spice of life.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
