someone said in another thread hes scared of investing in los, well right now ,, as i dont use uk money to live on, i live on th bt so any money i spend, as its been through the investment grill, i make the difference in exchange rate, were i to include that gain , id be making another 30% or wot ever. there are no tax,s on dealing, and 10% tax on div, then u get 30k personal allowance to offset it. if ur making enough on div whereby u can get all ur pesonal allowance back u are doing very well.

a couple of tips/make that opinions. 55 fte= 2bt, dont pay more, paying 10% div at that price.
pttgc = 51.5 dont pay more, paying 7%
tmb = 1.5 not a bad price now. paying 3.5% plus.

and these are in wot i regard as a recession. there must be many others, its finding them. 55 i love a good recession. keep dosh in reserve for such a play. be lucky

No more speculative stuff for me, that was an expensive get-rich-quick strategy, but a couple of weeks ago PTT and BBL both hit my buy point, got lucky with the timing, now happily and heavily in with nose to screen and finger on the trigger.

Aren't you concerned that the days average turnover is very low?

e.g. Today's trade was just 64,400
