Is This Place Any Good ??
The consensus seems to be that it's an utter shithole.
The quality of bed bugs, interesting skin diseases and mad westerners/bar girls that a place can throw up..!
Look no further than the Crown soi 29.
Rancid pool, police laying about and rude staff...
It was a winner ten years ago.
thanks guys i knew it was a shit hole just wanted some other in put this was a rushed trip, only in bangkok two nights won't be getting much sleep so it will do the job.
Anyone know where i can get a bet on the neddys on saturday.

whats the special for saturday mate???
^ havent even looked yet but there is always something to have a punt on.
Miami is okay if you are partial to kitsch 60's hotel reception interior decor and like 'basic without modern comforts, bordering on grubby' when it comes to your room.
It's a stones throw from the Thermae so if you want a takeaway at night, no taxi required for you and your purchase!
Other than that I'd give it a wide berth. For 900b you can get much better on Soi 7/1 or at the Nana City Inn on Soi 4.
Last I saw there is a lot of construction work going on next door to the Miami. So if you like waking up to the sound of jackhammers at 8 in the morning, book a room!
Thai style constuction BTW.Originally Posted by The balding Coot

Or a heavy discount at the very least.
However, most Miami residents are probably busy producing their own racket in their rooms with the help of their 'companion' well into the advent of daybreak, so I doubt the construction noise even registers!!
Stayed 4 nights not the flashest place around the staff were cheerful enough the rooms were clean the air con cold i will be back in bangkok in feb.for 2 nights will staff there again.
I looked in at the Miami about ten years ago, never fancied it. I even trekked all the way to the rancid Siphraya Hotel in Silom instead.
