    Sukhumvit 24 to Kaosan Road.

I have a buddy coming into town...yes I do have some.

OK I dont use public transport that much. What is the best way to get from From Suk 24 to Kao San Road for a noon appointment this Saturday? Is there a good BTS/ Taxi solution?

    Thanks in advance TP

Taxi easy enough on Saturday, not much traffic. Cost about 80-100 baht.

Or go up to Asoke Pier and take the canal boat to get close to Khao San, this is a cheap option but will mean a bit of walking to get to the boat, and when you get off the boat. Cost about 20 baht.

The other alternative is the 511 air con bus, goes along Sukhumvit Rd and drops you right by Khao san. Cost about 20 baht.

Try either the SUK. Metro or Skytrain to Hualampong Rail Station, then walk round the corner away from waiting taxis, flag one down on the road, Meter on and straight to Khao San Road. Cost about 100 Baht

Taxi. Go via the tollways and it's not too bad.

Number 2 bus will take you all the way there. 511 aircon is an alternative.Get out at Democracy monument.Who needs taxis?!

If you've just woken up and you wanna get there quick, jump on the skytrain to Piyatai and then get a motorbike taxi to ksr.

Probably take longer than a taxi straight there and roughly the same price. Traffic's not too bad at noon on a Saturday.

Especially if you enjoy waiting an hour for a motocy.

There's a motocy rank at the bottom of the steps at the skytrain.

The best option, took about the same time as the bts and moto and with less messing around.

Should have just got the aircon bus. Better than a taxi in my opinion.

^^ Ok, but the taxi side of it is done, 50 mins.

Get ready next week Saturday noon with your camera to try the BTS and moto route Fresh Prince, we'll be looking forward to your thread.

This might have some bearing on choice / start of the race The flag drops at the lobby of the Marriott serviced apartments.
