Over the years I knew him he would drink at Jools most days (and have his son in tow) to about 9-11pm and then go over to his bar and a few of us would follow on the odd occassion.

I had no idea about what happened with regard to what people did outside the bar though and he never offered me any special financial deals.

John and if I can remember correctly and it did piss Big Dave off no end!

Not that Jools was a slappers bar but there was some really heavy drinking most days and having a kid running around wasn't so practical.
