    Second-hand book stores in Bangers

Well its that time of the year when i have to do the painful trip into the deepest darkest Issan where even Dtac or ONE 2 Call be arsed to put up a signal tower so instead of spending shit loads on books again is there a place where i can exchange the ones i brought and read or a second hand place, i know they do it on Koh San but they are either all lonely planets or private dancer type material, anbody know anywhere else..
and on a seperate issue are there any others that have to do the dreaded trip and what do they do all day apart from drink Sam Song and sleep

What sort of books do you like to read? I've got some in the office on Asoke that could do with changing.

Most of my books are 'historical fiction' with the occasional political/economic history book thrown in for good measure. I did enjoy Bangkok 8 & Bangkok Tattoo, as you did. He's got a new one out now which you can buy in Asia Books.

Bangkok haunts, not as good as the first two but still worth a read.
Well, luckily I didn't have any tortoises on me at the time...

Elite books is pricey and cramped. It is opposite Benchasiri park (which is next to the emporium suk 24)
Dasa books is the best. Fair prices, and not cramped. You can DL their database of books at any time. They also werve cappucinos and cake etc..

werve = serve, unless they are Irish cappucinos.

theres an extremely good 2nd hand bookshop about 10 mins walk from Trat Khao San
You cross the road, go through the temple, turn left passtthe second hand stalls, turn left again and then walk 50 yards, turn right and its on your left.
