This past Monday we visited the Thai Human Imagery Museum at the Nakhon Chai Si District in Nakhon Pathom.
The Museum is purported to be a “Wax” museum – wax in tropical Thailand won’t work so it’s really a bunch of fiberglass statues. Established in the early 90’s as a typical Thai tourist trap.
The statues were somewhat impressive, but. Ya seen one ya seen ‘em all.
Ludicrous dual pricing system Thai THB 40 Falang THB 300.
The large parking lot could easily handle fifty cars and a dozen buses. There were eight cars, including mine, and not a single bus. Probably due to the dual pricing system – only kidding, certainly the minimal attendance was fear of the virus. 555
Anyway, typical tourist stuff. Get your pix taken with Rama 9 for a price.
Only odd thing was lunchtime the cafeteria had about 30 Thai’s eating there. Factory workers within walking distance.
Not recommended – it just is not worth the Falang price.
Some pix.
