A day in Downtown Bkk with a kid.

Gotta pop down to me lawyer, so might as well take the sproglette with me for the day and do something down there.

Will do the usual trick of parking in Big C Saphan Kwai then jumping on the BTS.

    Kidzania.

Kidzania Bangkok at Siam Paragon - Bangkok.com Magazine

Looks great, but heard it's usually packed. Waiting to get into the different sections etc. Bonus is it's in Paragon. Done Sea Life/Ocean World already so looking for someplace new.

    Snowtown.

Snow Town Bangkok at Gateway Ekkamai - Bangkok Magazine

Would be something new and exciting for the kid.

    Heard it's crap though.

Think dill went here a few months ago, broke his leg, wrist and backbone.

Number one contender at the moment for the novelty factor for the sprog.

    Bounce.

A trampoline place up along Rathchada. Probably boring after an hour.

    Imagina.

    Along Phrom Phong BTS.

    http://www.bangkok.com/magazine/imaginia-playland.htm

    Looks really good. Anyone been?

I think anything that involves play needs more that one participant? So you need to take a friend. FOR HER!

If she can swim and with a bit of effort. BTS to Wuthakat Taxi to Zanook Wake Park off Eckachai road. You can have a beer while she explores the island water playland.

If lawyer is near expressway ramp just jump in a cab.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

Lulu, don't wash her hair before you go, wash it in the ladies in Paragon and take her to the Dyson Shop and watch the wonder on her face at playing with fans and drying her hair with their magic machines.

It's alright for a couple of hours....That slide takes about an hour

She should love Kidzania as well

The great thing about those places is there's loads of kids in there for your child to interact with whilst as BF mentions you have a good perv at their moms

Theres a Bounce in Emquartier opposite side of the BTS to Imagina. It feels like there's no air con in there...Swerve and take her the playground in Benjasiri Park instead.

Theres a good little water park on the roof of The Mall, Bangkapi- Fantasia Lagoon and a nice indoor play area there

    Cheers.

Would rather someplace inside. My lungs don't like anything but 16 degree'd airconditioned air at this stage.

Will probably do Imagina, then maybe Snowtown, if I ain't half dead.

Anywhere good for lunch round Phrom Phong? (that I don't have to download an eatigo app then wait until 11pm, if possible)

Paul's(one of Tom's and Punty's haunts) (French) Floor 1 Emporium
Four Seasons (Chinese) Floor 6 Emquartier- like Chinese back home
Herrity's (Oirish) Sukhumvit 33/1- within easy walking distance from Emquartier side and Guinness.

Zanook has a water playpark can be seen in photos of the place. But only if she can swim. it is not simply a wake boarding place.

    Yep 2. one of each.

snowtown is shit, but there's a play place (keeps changing its name) on the floor below it that's ok

imaginia is pretty chill as long as you don't get some badly behaved olde4r chink kids left there whilst their parents go shopping, I had to bodycheck 2 of them last time I went
funarium is actually ok, hot mums and a quiet parent room for sleeping, better than its competitors
    we won it at wemberlee
we on it in gay paree...

I'm pretty sure snow town is closed now.

Kidzania is fun. Daughter loved it but as most schools are on holiday could be a tad busy.

One will be easy to spot; He admits he's the height of the length of an erect elephant penis.
