BNE to BKK with Thai International Airways.

I wanted to post this some days ago but I apparently left an important lead in Brisbane so I have been unable to post any of my pics 'till now.

The journey back to the Los was filled with fun and I have got to say that when I finally arrived in Jomtiem I had a smile on my face that you couldnee have wiped off with a cricket bat.

From go to whoa, the entire journey was worthwhile and I am, oh so glad to be home in the Los.

I arrived at Brisbane International Terminal an hour ahead of time coz I knew that my luggage was overwieght by at least 10 kilo's and had hoped too talk my way out of paying the excess.
No chance mate. Even excess baggage is now a perfect science designed to maximize revenue and I paid $220 for the 11 kilo's that my baggage was overweight. I didnt give a shit how much it cost though as I am sure that I will fit into some of the clothes that I packed for my soiree in no time at all.

So down the escalator I went into the restricted zone for outbound passengers only. I passed through 'Immigration' with no problem at all. After all, the illegal rack of lamb and the jars of vegemite that I had secreted in my luggage were now the responsibilty of the staff at Don Muang, when I arrived.
Being windswept and interesting has always been a trait of mine and I simply tossed by shock of unruly blonde hair back and soldiered on as though I was an upright citizen.

It was Grandma Sensible who always told me that once you make up your mind about something, "Just do it!"

So anyway, now I am amongst my fellow travellers and the excitement began to build.

First I went to the window to check on the aircraft that was going to carry me away from Brisbane.

After I had made my purchases in the duty free shops

I decided to head to the Smokers balcony for a quick fag and wasnt disappointed.

You cant see it in this pic but this bloke was wearing a dress and high heels and sat there just chatting with a young Balinese gal. I am only glad that he was waiting for a different flight.

They eventually called the flight to board and I am always amazed at why folks rush to get on a flight. I cleverly snuck out for another quick fag and still came back to have to wait in the queue.
Anyway all the usual mayhem starts when everyone finds thier seat and puts the luggage in the overhead lockers.

I managed to snap this pic as well but this bloody woman got in the way.

Never mind, I got more pics coming.

Finally we took off. I love take offs and landings but I cant stand the tedious bit in the middle.

And now its time to hand the hot towels around.

I actually sent a message up to the pilot suggesting that he might bring the altitude up to 36,000 feet.

Jai yen yen mate. Well actually I dont but this gal did want me to do her in the dunnies.

Actually she was a dead on gal and we kept going down to the back of the aircraft to have a pretend ciggie.

Anyway, I told her that I would take a raincheck coz the toilets were way to small for the kind of sex that she had in mind.

Was it cold in duty free? You could hang your hat on the nipples of that woman in pink.

I got to say that the nosh was very good indeed. Well, apart from the fact that when I was asked whether I wanted the pork or the fish and asked for fish, I was told that they had run out of fish. I laughed coz I was on my way to Thailand.

    Some minutes later.........

More hot towels. This is Chanida who spilled orange juice on me and as a result, I was treated like a king for the rest of the flight.

We were served two meals during the short 8 hours and 20 minutes that we were in the air. Here is the second meal.

I was actually given two of this meal coz Chanida fancied me. Well after all even hostees are human.

Here is Chanida again. This time she is handing out the drinks.

I think that she was impressed by the fact that I only ever took orange juice or soda. She had a lovely smile and a really cute dimple in her chin.

    Not long to go now.

All in all, I couldnt really fault Thai International Airways and they remain my favourite airline.

The pilot went the quick way and cut what was to be a 9 and a half hour flight down to 8 hours 20 mins. Well done that man.

So we landed and I joined my place in the line of folks as we disembarked.

    Kawp khun makt gals.

Most of the passengers were travelling to Thailand for a holiday but for me, I was opening a new chapter in my life with a one way ticket.
