I wanted to post this some days ago but I apparently left an important lead in Brisbane so I have been unable to post any of my pics 'till now.
The journey back to the Los was filled with fun and I have got to say that when I finally arrived in Jomtiem I had a smile on my face that you couldnee have wiped off with a cricket bat.
From go to whoa, the entire journey was worthwhile and I am, oh so glad to be home in the Los.
I arrived at Brisbane International Terminal an hour ahead of time coz I knew that my luggage was overwieght by at least 10 kilo's and had hoped too talk my way out of paying the excess.
No chance mate. Even excess baggage is now a perfect science designed to maximize revenue and I paid $220 for the 11 kilo's that my baggage was overweight. I didnt give a shit how much it cost though as I am sure that I will fit into some of the clothes that I packed for my soiree in no time at all.
So down the escalator I went into the restricted zone for outbound passengers only. I passed through 'Immigration' with no problem at all. After all, the illegal rack of lamb and the jars of vegemite that I had secreted in my luggage were now the responsibilty of the staff at Don Muang, when I arrived.
Being windswept and interesting has always been a trait of mine and I simply tossed by shock of unruly blonde hair back and soldiered on as though I was an upright citizen.
It was Grandma Sensible who always told me that once you make up your mind about something, "Just do it!"
So anyway, now I am amongst my fellow travellers and the excitement began to build.
First I went to the window to check on the aircraft that was going to carry me away from Brisbane.
After I had made my purchases in the duty free shops
I decided to head to the Smokers balcony for a quick fag and wasnt disappointed.
You cant see it in this pic but this bloke was wearing a dress and high heels and sat there just chatting with a young Balinese gal. I am only glad that he was waiting for a different flight.
