Would be great to have Pat back on board.

One aspect that sums up the Thai way of running things, is that Bkk will have 4 different elevated rail systems.

None of them connected to each other or done by the same companies.

    The BTS.
    The Airport Link.
    The SRT.
The MRT (that I believe will be elevated in parts)

    All separate, all disconnected.

...We both avoid it: unreliable and crowded...only new management will evolve this limping white elephant into an urban transport asset...

Every time we ride the Bangkok rail I think its fantastic, congested at pear hour maybe but still great. We plan to go to Bangkok early next year,
We will travel on the new system just to see how it is.

Get a grip Tommy, that statement is complete and utter fuking rubbish.

The only part close to be accurate is it's crowded at rush hour.

See how ya go when ya move back to California and wanna catch reliable and uncrowded public transport.

    Fookin shite innit

What pisses me off is having to have three cards, one for each of the systems. Having an integrated ticketing system between the lines would be a nice improvement.

Most logical in a business practical manner.
    A win-win all around.

Though, I wouldn't be expecting Thais to be integrating this reasoned sense.

As TC has mentioned, has little to do with social public service -
    Other things have priorities.

    Topper,

When you bitches drone on about the little stuff it really bangs home that you cry over sweet fuk all and the sooner you bolt to Flipperland the sooner your troubled mind may be set free.

That will not happen though simply because Flipperland is fuking light years behind Thailand innit. Soon you will be bitching about shit over there which infact is heaps eh.

As far as having to have a few different tickets to ride Thailands superior public transport goes who really gives a flying fuk.

It's not fuking hard to have a few different tickets in ya Vagina eh.

    Anyway Topper,

You have a nice fookin day eh .

People are going to be surprised when they take the red line that goes through Laksi then to Don Muang. The stop for Don Muang is a big one but it is nearly opposite the domestic terminal. So those going to the international terminals will be inconvenienced. For the life of me I cant figure it out. It ends completely at the car park for T2 at Don Muang...

    LOL....

What does that say about you, Terry? Obsessed with what others say? Obsessed for using their words to show their weaknesses?

Just sayin like. Oddly enough, most sane people here don't bother.
