    Thailand itinerary for a newbie

I'm going to be spending 11 days in Thailand next week and am trying to make the most of it. I am a newbie when it comes to the girls scene there, but can probably catch on pretty quickly. I sort of know what to expect as I've been keeping current with several of the forums.
I was wanting to ask you guys for some advice...
I am wanting to both enjoy the girls and enjoy the other things Thailand has to offer. I was thinking of flying directly to BKK and immediately taking a shuttle to Pattaya. From everything I read, girls will be more concentrated and cheaper there. I was thinking of spending 2 nights there and just getting all of the mongering "relatively" out of my system. This way, I can go back to BKK and some of the southern beaches enjoying what they have to offer without sex being the number 1 thing on my mind (just the number 2 thing).
Since my time is short there, I'm wanting to maximize my time and travel experience without JUST thinking about getting laid. I am a pretty sex crazed guy but enjoy other things as well. Does this sound like a good idea or a waste of time to go down to Pattaya since there are obviously plenty of girls in BKK?
Just for your info, I'm a single 29 yo white guy. Not bad looking and don't drink. I am hoping the fact that I don't drink doesn't hurt me at the Gogo bars and with the bargirls.
    Please send thoughts/opinions! Thanks!

You could have a look around Bangkok, trip up the river on the public boat is cheap,go visit the Royal Palace , you could dash up to Ayutthaya if you are into seeing some temples,it is not far from Bangkok..go down to Kanchanaburi also not that far from Bangkok on the bus/car etc. Really depends what you want to do and what your interests are...theres shopping, can get some cheap stuff in Thailand..mostly clothes....up to you..take a tour?

    Ladymen abound.
They look like ladies, but they have "bits".

    No, I'm not gay.
Thanks for the advice. I was reading about Ayutthaya and was just wondering today if it was worth it. Now that I've had some recommendation, it will definitely go up on the list. I plan to check out the Grand Palace as well. Haven't heard anything about Kanchanaburi,so I will look it up.
I will probably head down to Pattaya first. Have some fun for a few nights and then head to Bangkok for a 3-4 days to do those things and then head down to the islands.

11 days huh..? 4 nights in Pattaya, 5 nights in Koh Chang, 2 nights in Pattaya.. taxi to the airport. Would be my choice but then I am a proper dirty bastard that loves to drink and partay Bangkok has absolutely nothing to offer except high prices and humidity and travelling over to the other side of the gulf will just drain your money and your time. Koh Chang is a great place, had many great breaks from the full on down there, very laid back, lovely beaches, great food, coral reefs offshore. Go to Pattaya, go fucking mental, spoil yourself rotten, fuck the temples you can do that next time around, blow your wedge on a threesome with to willing little nymphs.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

11 days is enough time to fall madly in love and a return visit will be a must.Just go with the flow and enjoy yourself.

    Eric,
some words of caution before your adventures.

Remember that well travelled poet, Lewis Carroll?

Here's the first verse of one he penned after visiting Thailand for the eigth time :-

    "Beware the Ladycock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
    The frumious Poxedupsnatch!"
