    I hear that!

Covid lockdown has turned them all into screen zombies.

    Those beaches do look nice.

Good to see you & your family again, BLD. How tall are the kiddos now? Are they both taller than their mom? Send my regards to Mrs BLD.

$250/ night! That's a 5* hotel or resort already in PH (and in some other SEA countries). Oz is indeed pricey. I've got an aunt & some cousins in Perth.

Rockingham = the swinging pig night club, definitely get a root and/or ya head punched in - sheila or bloke just as likely.

But yeah the beaches are OK if the breeze isn't coming from Kwinana and the noahs aren't hungry.

I had a similar problem when I was back in the US, I dont have it here in Thailand so I assume it is an internet gateway issue.
The way I resolved the issue when UI was in the US was, I would post the small picture, then immediately go back and Edit the post by left double clicking the picture and when the picture size window opened select "Full size" do not select large picture because depending on the size of the picture some times the editor will not show the whole picture.

By the way nice picture , looks like a great place to go.
Maybe take my ex-mother in law there , tell her to swill out as far as she can and splash around .

Mandurah area is currently crabbing season. For Blue Manna crab. Each person gets to catch 10 each. Just wade out in waist deep water with a scoop and a Styrofoam box towed behind you. Fisheries inspectors are random but many. Big fines for catching undersize or females. Fair enough I reckon. More than 10 is just greedy. Save some for next season

I did venture solo a couple of times to nude beaches in Sydney decades ago out of a sense of gung-ho curiosity and youthful bravado

I was disappointed to see no females on the beach and was puzzled by the unisex male patronage sitting in pairs rubbing sun tan lotion on each other.

Anyhoo I ventured into the water for a brisk, rude and healthy male swim with tackle-a-swingin in a manner I imagined to be reminiscent of Simon Callow in A Room With A View, while I felt the male gaze of the other beach patrons watching quietly but intently.

I left slightly deflated on each occasion with a curious nagging sense of puzzlement. I could be quite slow to crack on to the go as a young man!

It wasn't like the nudest beach DVDs I bought in Amsterdam.

Those nudist beaches in Spain are a sight for sore eyes.

Wrinkles, bellies and Teutonic maidens in their seventies.

Everything flowing freely in the wind.

You've not lived till you've heard the words "Guten tag" spoken by a lard arse saggy grey haired zombie wearing nothing but socks and sandals.

Apologies for going off on a tangent BLD.

    Tip top travel thread.

    ^thanks for the pics, BLD.

Wow, how your kids have grown! Your eldest is in the tall gangly stage. He looked a bit like my nephew with the long hair. My nephew called it his lockdown/ pandemic hair. He grew it for ~a year. Recently he's cut it so he now looks more like your younger kiddo.
