    Pattersons Curse
That's 'Salvation Jane' if you're Sth aussie! It was the farmers curse- but seems to have been largely contained now, by some chemical or biogenetic wizardry.

Reminds me of Brittany when I was 14 years old, doing a cycling tour with Edmond Snr. Just very different colour landscape and rocks.

I've been, but missed them. I saw Wave Rock, that was smaller than I expected, but interesting.

As with most things geological there are several theories as to the formation of the pinnacles, but all are based around the resistance to weathering of the calcium carbonate rich composition of the structures.

This is the great thing about being a geologist... most reports are 'possibly this' or 'possibly that', and no-one can prove you wrong.
