TRAVEL - QLD - NSW ... Back of the Gold Coast - Natural Bridge

While it's a bit quiet, good time to show Part 2 of an earlier thread ... https://teakdoor.com/australia-and-n...old-coast.html (TRAVEL - QLD - NSW ... Back of the Gold Coast - Springbrook)

From Part 1 we explored Springbrook and Purlingbrook Falls.

This waterway winds it's way through the rainforest as shown below ...

In it's journey, it forms the 'Natural Bridge'

This is about the scenes around the Natural Bridge.

I used to live near this place and it was great to show the family.

Ficus watkinsiana, commonly known as strangler fig, Watkins' fig, nipple fig or the green-leaved Moreton Bay fig is a hemiepiphytic fig that is endemic to Australia. The species exists in three populations—one in northeast Queensland and the others in southeast Queensland and northeast New South Wales.

Great pics - didn't see it before. It wasn't bumped up, I guess. Was this before or during this CV situation?

The boys are growing so fast. I still remember their "baby powder in car" pics.

I miss hiking... One day soon... Sigh...

^^^^ MK ... thanks very much. More to come soon.

^^ KW, indeed it is a beautifull place in the world.
I just have to grab the time to maker a few youtubes on the actual 'Natural Arch' to better showcase the place we travelled to.

^ Bladders, it is a cheap phone and all that hiking, rain and that it was in my pocket, the lens got a bit misty and didn't realise it untill I looked at the images in full scale on the 'puter

Yep Miss Katie, I know the image you refer to.

Can't easily find that one now.

But, one from the same timeline, then one snapped by SMIMBO over the week-end.

They are 6yo now ... but wearing size 8 clothes!

Same Boy left and right, above and below. Couldn't imagine life without the Twins ... they are best Mates for each other.
    ... that's if they aren't fighting
