I downloaded slim Dusty the other day....listening to him made me cry....

With songs such as 'lights on the hill' and 'three rivers hotel' and 'plains of pepperminarti' and 'leave him in the longyard' and 'ringer from the topend' and 'indian pacific' and 'camoweel' and 'cunnamulla fella' and 'by a fire of gidgee coals'

all bringing back wonderful memories.....

OK the video is kind of moving/heart breaking,.but I did not know what would come up when I was looking for “Harry Manx,…Make Way For The Living” when I was listening to it this early morning and decided to look for it on youtube.

This is a great album. Roomsound by Califone.
Very atmospheric bluesy Americana. A very good and interesting listen.
