Radio 2
Beethoven - Symphony No.9
His last complete symphony and the one where he famously had to be turned round at the end of conducting the premiere, to see the applause of the audience, due to having gone totally deaf by this point and being unable to hear either the music or its reception.

Meddle - Pink Floyd. And it's feckin loud
M. Ward - Post War
Anyone who's never listened to M. Ward really ought to give him a try. He is an excellent guitarist who plays vintage style music, however, the most unique thing about him is his voice which has been described as equal parts honey and cigarette. A good listen, it's a travesty that he's not more well known.

Don Giovanni
The Commendatore appears in the final scene and drags Don Giovanni into the fiery pits of hell for his wayward fornication. Obviously never been to Chonburi's famous beachside resort :bunny3:
The Twang - Love it when I feel like this.
Quality album.
I'm trying to find the name of an old song from the early 70s so I can do a search for it.
I cant figure out how to start a new thread so I will have to post my enquiry here. The chorus line goes, -- "And the Mississippi River runs like molasses in the summertime."
Any advice re the song name or how to start a new thread would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Just above the list of theads in a button on the left side that looks remarkably like this https://teakdoor.com/images/td_defaul.../newthread.gif. Click on it. It's so easy, even Momo can do it (sadly).
OK Marmers, I got it now.

This one is a few years old but still enjoyable. If you like the Arcade Fire then this album is a must have. If you like the elephant, click the link for the mp3's :) If you prefer the Radio 1 playlist then don't bother.
