Helmet - Unsung
Rammstein - Ohne Dich....Dieses ist vom Album Reise-Reise. Ich mag Rammstein. Ich habe absolut keine Idee, was sie auf ungefähr... vermutlich nicht Stickerei und Rezepten für Omelette methinks sind.
Flamboyant - Pet Shop Boys...."To look so loud may be considered tacky - Collectors wear black clothes by Issey Miyake....."
Joey Boy - Ragga Boom
Brilliant Mind - Furniture....This just popped on iTunes shuffle...."You must be out of your brilliant mind"....Quite a good chorus, don't think I'll go looking for it again though....Peter, Bjorn And John Paris 2004 has just come on....I like this....I can't help but sway....I'll have to stop the passengers on my bus are complaining.
Tangerine Dream Bride in Cold Tears from Dream Mixes....which as I finish typing has moved on to Astral Projection Dancing Gallery....This is from a electronic-dance playlist which I like as background music when I am reading as I will be when I finish this post.....Now!
Athlete - Tourist.
Pretty average indie pap.
Next up on the jukebox will be Blue Murder - Blue Murder. A bit of metal from the dim & distant past.
Quasimoto - Put A Curse On You
Air All I Need. This is from an album called 'Sunday Morning Songs' which just shows you how original a thinker I am....Guess what year I read the book 1984 - Well it was 1979, so, don't go jumping to assumptions - Alright!
Chet Baker - Almost Blue
An album called Copia by a group named Eluvium. I purchased this after reading good write-ups from Metacritic....'Ambient' I guess is the genre term - Absolutey-Beauty-Eauty-Weautiful is my term. Sigur Ros springs to mind.
^ you work for a record company?
mamas and the papas
No. Why would you think that Mr S?
Anyway the album was so relaxing that I dozed off with my book in my hand - I'm sure that I would have looked almost sweet if I wasn't such an ugly bugger.
I've had to change the music, the Eluvium album is wonderfully relaxing - I will cut a CD for the bedroom....I mean for listening to in the bedroom, I'm not cutting the CD for the room itself, that would be a ridiculous thing to do.
Blonde Redhead - 23 - Album&Track name - indie pop. Sweet.
I've just downloaded Garth Brooks 'No Fences'.
Now listening to 'Friends in Low Places'.
Great blue collar anthem- you can't help but like it.
Always makes me think of a visit to Hawaii, when it seemed that and Pearl Jam were about the only songs being played in the pubs.
Besnard Lakes - Devastation (Album: The Besnard Lakes are the Dark Horse)....Tuneful guitar rock with a heavy repetitive chorus - great track.
This is another one that I picked on by chance after reading up on Metacritic.
Metacritic: Best Albums of 2007
Some would call be unimaginative and shallow for choosing tunes based on a 'Best of' list....and they would be right - I am unimaginative and shallow.
Head, Shoulers Knees and Toes - I don't know the artist but it sounds like a chorus of schoolchildren.
It has been tirelessly overplayed all morning by Sandra's sister.
delta 5 - journey
Soundgarden - Superunknown
i know i should try getting into some new music but i really cant be arsed
led zeppelin - bring it on home
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Mothers Milk
Gub่ly by Mulatu Astatke
Dreamer - Ozzy Osbourne
Time for bed, therefore....
Deftones - White Pony
May I be so bold as to recommend 'NME Presents Essential Bands of 2006'
Amazon.co.uk: NME Presents Essential Bands 2006: Music: Various Artists
I am currentley listening to Babyshambles - Albion.....a quite beautiful piece of work by Mr Doherty and his friends.
