Wow
I was reminiscing earlier about the late 70s. I saw Hawkwind a couple of times at Stonehenge and one on tour (sans Lemmy as he'd formed Motorhead), mostly they were stoned, Lemmy on both occaisions made the effort to turn up as was his wont back then before the pigs banned the festival. The lightshow was always fookin amazing on a summers night with a load on board, the only thing missing was their dancer Stacia, she used to dance starkers for them with full body paint. She was fooking hot, aparently is still alive living in Ireland gawd bless err.
RIP Lemmy

Verse 1: The Loss of a Friend
This verse recounts the experience of learning about the death of a friend, Suzanne, while Taylor was in London working on his first album. The news was withheld from him for several months, as his friends were concerned it would distract him from his big break. This verse captures the emotional impact of this tragic news and the sense of disbelief and loss.
Verse 2: Addiction and Recovery
This verse delves into Taylor's struggle with heroin addiction and his journey toward recovery. He describes the physical and emotional toll of addiction and his desperation to find a way back to health. The lyrics "Jesus, you got to help me make a stand" reflect his plea for help during this difficult time.
Verse 3: Fame and the Aftermath
The final verse looks back at Taylor's experiences with fame and fortune, reflecting on his band, The Flying Machine, and his time at the Austin Riggs mental hospital. This verse captures a sense of both reflection and a hopeful look towards the future, as he navigates the complexities of his newfound success and continues his journey of recovery.
