TV on the Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain....Cookie Mountain sounds a great place to live, but I bet it ain't - Everyone would be about 160 kilos and have black teeth...."What's for dinner?....Oh, not bloody cookies again"....Still, it's gotta be better than living on Brocolli Mountain.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!

Where is my Mind - Placebo with Frank Black (Pixies) from the live Paris DVD Soulmates Never Die....I challenge ANYONE to play this track and to not get into the groove....It is beyond brilliant; new words are needed to describe the flumnussence of it....BTW, where is my mind?

Yep, Where is my Mind is class stuff. Gotta go download that recording. Not a huge Placebo fan but with Frank Black it could work.

Hung Up - Madonna....What a great song....It's only my complete lack of dancing skills that stop me from being gay.

Mojave 3 - Puzzles Like You....A really nice album....Think of a Sunday morning, you're snugly ensconced under the duvet, your loved one is preparing breakfast by biting the heads off haddocks, you have your favourite hat in the fridge chilling nicely, and the man from the 8th floor who always steals your parking place has just fallen past the window....As I say, nice.

Deerhoof - Friend Opportunity....This had very good reviews but it doesn't swing it for me. Just goes to show that 'we' do not all like the same thing and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that and don't let anyone tell you any different and if they do just point them in my direction and I will tell them about my experience with this Deerhoof album and that will hopefully change their mind such that they do not go around telling others.

New Age - Velvet Underground - Good to know that there are rock-solid reliable songs out there that one can always fall back on in times of doubt and despair...."I'll come running to you, honey when you want me...."

I'm listening to "White Rabbit" by the Jefferson Airplane. However, I'm not playing it. It's my neighbor; a 40 YO Thai attorney who seems to have the same taste in music as I do: 60's and 70's. He's actually singing along. (Only a meter between houses here....) I wonder how he acquired the taste for that period when he wasn't even born yet?

Just downloaded myself a copy of Elvis Costello's King of America, six years after I sold all my LPs. Love it. The man's a genius and I've always thought so.
