I'm listening to the voices in my head,
No need for Music when these two coontas get fired up.
I love em like a head on car crash.
Pats is doing a Paul Weller Style Council rememberance listening.
Can't embed - someone can help me??
That man had and probably still has a voice.... from a distant past of mine. Oh, the tears shed over those songs...!! And he did an album in French... that was beautiful. How can so many forgotten memories zap back into your mind over one song? And it happens with lots of songs. And you remember the words, and where you were.
Long Hot Summers just passed me by.... I watched that video. Shocked, i was. the man was caressing his own body... shocked. Whilst punting in Cambridge. i didn't notice that in my youth. I was probably too busy drooling over George Michael...!!! Or not really understanding what Frankie Goes to Hollywood were really saying.. That sort of thing. Naive-ish.
Haven't gone back as far as the Clash yet. The long hot summer night is still young... and don't want to scare the neighbours.

1983 - I was 20 years old... not a care in the world. Now i'm an old shriveled up hag!! Don't tell me that he doesn't carress his body in a provacative way? I find it quite erotic.
Don't worry, I'll get to the Communards tomorrow. That should make Blue pee in his panties. Wee Jimmy Sommerville giving it laldy!!
Reliving the music of your younger years supposedly helps you battle with dementia in later years. Forget the Bucket List, make a Playlist. I google things. you know. And believe everything.

People often don't realize the number of singers who come from the South, and who are Muslim. Nong Meow is one such, very talented girl for 16, few years ago now. This is a very southern sound with Malay influences.
Canadian Asian humor: who'd a-thunk it?
Ummm...don't believe they did.Originally Posted by patsycat
