Norah Jones's new album, "The Fall". Different from her usual stuff, slightly more upbeat but with her own individual style. Incidentally, I read an interview about her recently, and never knew she was the illegitimate daughter of Ravi Shankhar (more than likely misspelt), the Indian guy who played sitar with the Beatles and became something of their guru. He and her mother met whilst he was touring the States. The really nice thing is that she's always known who her father is, and they have a very good relationship. Ravi is (I think) 92 now, and as such doesn't perform as he used to, but certainly the interview I read, she displayed a great deal of affection for her father.
For such a young woman (I think she's only 26/27 now), she's got so much talent and musical prowess.
^She has a wonderful voice
Listened to some old Jack Logan songs this morning, some of you might enjoy him. Not too much on YouTube, but this is a good one:

Round she goes with the living dead
black lipstick and a cigarette
and her half-closed eyes are deeply set
and she stares out cold from
a shrunken head.

Dire Straits: Sultans of Swing from 1983, man I love this song. It made me buy a guitar (and then sell it a few months later)
Unfortunately it is in 2 parts, but the audio is pretty good and Knopfler is just unbelievable:

Edit: I think I may have posted a link to this song before, so sorry, but this is an excellent version and the band is on fire, so not that sorry :)
