Chuck Berry is 85 - Videos

The real King of Rock 'n' roll. 85 years old a couple days ago. Here's a couple of videos of him at his best. (Check out the audience, looks like a Mormon convention)

In this video Chuck invents the fine art of being stoned out of your mind on stage

Well remembered Bob, a great artist and songwriter. Can't believe he's 85 and now realise why i never got to watch him live.

As far as i'm aware, he still plays live. (Or he did until he had some health problems a year or so ago)

He has a website - which had a list of his upcoming gigs on it.

I'm also a great admirer of Beethoven, Newton, Galileo, Octavian, Seti I, the great Neanderthal Emperor Uuuuurgg IV, certain members of the Dunedain, and the more loyal of the Numenoreans. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm over 250,000 years old

Not bad. Just watched that vid and others linked from it. Chuck Berry totally overshadows Lennon but what the fuck is Yoko Ono doing!!! What a talentless cow

I also saw Bo Diddley, who was a late replacement for Little Richard, on stage in my home town.

The Rolling Stones were the bottom of the bill on that night but became very famous shortly after.

    I was young, very young!

If you're talking about Chuck Berry the appropriate term is "ding-a-ling".

BTW, I've just noticed the title of this forum
"Beauty in art is often nothing but ugliness subdued." The written word, the spoken word, performance art, visual art. What is "Art?" From television advertising to opera, comic books to classic literature, vacation snapshots to the Sistine Chapel Frescoes; we are exposed to art every day. What is art to you?"
What degenerate and absolute poof on this forum wrote that astounding piece of assholery? Enquiring (and inquiring) minds demand an answer (followed by a lynching).

    Something of that sort.
Chuck Berry once opened a restaurant called The Southern Air in Missouri. According to a former waitress, Berry wired the women’s toilets with a video camera and recorded some two hundred unsuspecting patrons using it. Charges were dropped when Berry agreed to compensate the victims of his “potty cam” financially.
Will we be praising Rolf Harris and his life when he reaches his next birthday?
