    Are you a music snob?

There are so many different types of music out there and variety it makes me wonder why peeps are so narrow minded and stick with only classical or soft rock for instance.

Naturally everyone has their personal preferences, so post up your genres.

    For me it's

Sixties Rhythm and Blues, rare Detroit Soul, Jamaican Ska, Sixties Latin boogaloo.
Then its Northern Soul, two tone, Rocksteady, Jazz.
Then Dance , trance, house and more recently liquid jungle.

There's so many types, take a deep breath..

Music Genre List - A complete list of music styles, types and genres

This thread reminds me of a Blues Brother Movie Scene were a Redneck says we've got both types of music, Country and Western.
    Shalom

    Relaxing, very cool.
I was a tour guide for three years at a music festival and every year was in charge of a group of people from different countries. They played their own music and danced and I got to take them to all their venues and tour them around the city. It was an amazing experience. I had a group from Poland, China and France.. I met so many awesome people and learned a lot about world music.

Me too. So many posters here are stuck in the past. And their past memories are filled with of god awful songs.

All three backup singers are from Australia in the video below.

    He was great in concert.

My music choices totally depends on what I want to listen too at the time or the audience around me. I mean you aren't going to listen to Rap at a dinner party nor are you going g to listen to Classical music at a pool party.

I think the only few Genres I do not prefer are Reggae and Classical. All else is pretty much open.

I should have said I dislike the old 'tear in my beer' twang country.
I like Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain and a few others. I'm picky on what country I like. A lot of the new country that 'men' sing I'm not a fan.
The ones you posted are pretty good. Not my fave though. I know country is huge in the USA. I watch 'The Voice' and 'American Idol' and a country boy won 'The Voice' this year, was a bit disappointing lol.
