    Thumbs up Something Different

This is a humerous, ripping yarn set in Thailand which is a good read during lock down. It's available from most major ebook retailers including Kindle, Apple Books and Barnes and Noble

    From the blurb:

A chance encounter with a mysterious woman in Bangkok, an unusual business idea and then a fugitive, on the run with four bar girls, a lady boy and a pig. A journey through the world of adult entertainment and encounters with the secret services, Russian arms dealers, sex, drugs and country and western music. It was truly something different. With adult humour and some strong language.

Think gonna pass on that one, but good luck to OP.

Well at least the person who wrote the blurb can spell, and use commas.

I would imagine the author might be able to post links correctly as well.

    I think I would too.
There's enough crappy low-brow BKK Noir literature out there already.

This particular oeuvre [and authors] tends to be over romanticized as does the false claim of fame.

    That cover is hilarious!

Looks like a Harry Potter porn parody.

It appears that Pukki was informed about TD's reasonable promotion rates.

True, and the picture looks like it was drawn with microsoft paint.

But you know what, the author has made the effort to publish a book. Good on him. That's an achievement that not all of us manage. I might buy a copy just because, $2,99 is less than the price of a beer.

Sounds a bit like Chico, until you read the rest of the blurb. The cover picture is probably just how Chico sees himself.

I can get a beer for less than $2.99, I'll buy the beer.

    Anyone got a torrent link?

Easy download on iTunes. There is the option to read the first two chapters before purchasing.

The first two pages, uhm... not sure what to say or if I will continue reading. Helluva way to start a story.

Don't judge a book by it's cover as they say.
Anyway you can preview the first few chapters without buying.
Sounds like most people make a judgement without taking a look first.

Bars closed, get cheap beer from the off-license and get stuck into a good book!

Minus the beer on night shift though.

Are you saying 'Don't judge a book by its cover'?

Yeah it is indeed an accomplishment. One I'll never make.
Sorry for making a joke about the cover Pukki.
