^^ It don't get better than that Jack.

I've a sister who used to play violin with the Scottish National Opera in Glasgow - up your neck of the woods, so I include meself as cultured on that account.

I love a bit of Puccini.

was thinking of Mendips sis screeching violin and baggie duet at the Scottish opera, kind of like the Thai folk shows or the Muay Thai.

Musicians collaborating over the years has changed somewhat, due to legal manifestations. If I recall correctly, George Harrison played on the Goodbye Cream album, but had to be listed as L'Angelo Mysterioso, due to contractural obligations.

I remember going to the Byrds concert at Sheffield City Hall in the late 60s. Halfway through the set they brought on a local lad to rapturous applause. Jammed a couple of tunes with Joe Cocker.

A bit left field but Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe singing Barcelona is brilliant.

Stumbled across this gem. Older brother and young sister singing a Freddy Fender classic in both English and their native Papua New Guinea language Motu.

    Just beautiful...
