Tatra V 570Der Tatra V 570 war ein Kleinwagen-Prototyp des tschechoslowakischen Herstellers Tatra-Werke AG, Automobil- und Waggonbau in Nesselsdorf / Kopřivnice.



Konstrukteur des Fahrzeuges war Hans Ledwinka. Als Prototypen wurden 1931 (?) zwei Cabriolets und 1933 eine Limousine mit Stromlinienkarosserie gebaut. Der Wagen war als möglicher Nachfolger des Typs 12 vorgesehen. Es kam jedoch nie zu einer Serienfertigung des Kleinwagens.

Die Konstruktion von 1933 (?) mit Zentralrohrrahmen und Heckantrieb wurde später von Ferdinand Porsche unter Patentverletzung für den VW Käfer übernommen. Porsche soll später zugegeben haben („Car Wars“), bei der Entwicklung des KdF-Wagens bei Hans Ledwinka abgeschaut zu haben. 1961 wurden Tatra von der Volkswagenwerk AG wegen Patentverletzungen an Motor und Design 1 Mio. DM als Entschädigung gezahlt.[1]

Nobody famous, just my farmhands/painters/labourers in the village. They are brothers and used to drink like fishes when they came back from Bangkok where they worked as painters. Now they stay in the village and grow rice and beans on their farm and help with our farm and home...






When they work they work very hard and when they drink they get smashed out of their trolleys...

^hehe.. haven't heard the term, "out of their trolleys" before. . . They sure look relaxed.

A pic of Rubilyn who I sponsored for many years. She lived in the Philippines in a poor area, and went to school. I exchanged letters and gifts over a few years, but last year she died of Dengue Fever. I thought this was a great pic of her taken by a friend of mine whose father was the principal of the school. RIP Dear!
